Why Chocolate Covered French Fries?

There is actually a story behind why this site got its name, read on...

One day my 15 year old daughter and I were together on a road trip and mid conversation she says "have you ever had chocolate covered french fries?" I said wow that is possibly the most random question I've been asked and definitely have not! It didn't last long because she was just thinking out loud, its something my kids and I often share in common. But then something clicked and I thought perhaps its a stretch but it reminded me of Relationships...You see Chocolate and French Fries are both delicious things to most people on their own, put them together though and it could either be amazing or disgusting!

Call me crazy but I feel like Relationships are similar. People on their own can be awesome but sometimes when you put them together it always has the same potential to go either way...Thus, the brand for this site and my 1st book was born.

Together, each week if you stick with me (and share :-) we will explore all sorts of real talk when it comes to all types of Relationships from friends & family to romantic! You see in most of our Relationships we don't choose the other person i.e. Kids don't get to choose Parents or vice versa typically, Siblings don't get to choose who they want, etc. The exception of course (at least in a large part of the world) is Romantic Relationships. No matter what the case majority of our real talk here and in the book can apply to all types of Relationships - that's the goal. But I will also tell you more about myself and why I would even want to publish a blog like this, especially since I have become known as a Brand/Event Manager/Promoter...in next post!
